A ge is a special food from Danshui in new Taipei cities, the name was translated from Japanese name aburage. It is fired bean curd with vermicelli noodles, filling with sweet and hot sauce.
Making this dish, got lots of techniques
to do so. A gei- was served with either plain soy or with
a sweet chilli sauce.
There are some well-known vendors in
Danshui, first vendors is original store a gei, secondly it is three sisters a
gei, at last it is wenhua a-gei,this dish is one of the famous dishes in
Danshui.
